Attached is a descendants report, showing the connection from the Lees of
Johnston Co, NC, to the very numerous Lees of Barbour/Bullock Co, AL.
This
shows that Winifred Lee, dau. of Robert Lee, married Stephen Blackman.

I would appreciate anything on the Blackmans, as well as Sellers and
Rushtons.

I would especially like to have the census page numbers for all the Sellers
of Montgomery Co, AL, and details on the 1900 and 1910 censuses for L. J.
Sellers and her family. She was an Eiland. Abigail (Abi) Eiland,
Hitchcock
widow, married Henry King of Barbour Co, AL, and was my
gr-gr-grandmother.

Unknown, and died Bef. 1 Oct 1820. He married (2) <UNNAMED> Abt. 1820.
She was born Unknown, and died Bet. 1846 - 1850. He married (3) SARAH
ANN SLOAN 16 Oct 1850 in AL. She was born 9 Aug 1811 in GA, and died
Abt. 30 Aug 1881 in Lake City, Columbia Co, FL (resident of Barbour Co,
AL).

I'm way down here in Florida, still working full time for a little bit
longer, and I keep forgetting where Johnston Co, NC even is. I would
sure
love to have deeds or deed information, such as creek names, and more
dates,
ages, etc., but I think I'm pretty lucky to get what I have from generous
and
knowledgeable persons such as yourself. <GR>

I do want to help, and to contribute as much as possible. I really

Dear Mr. Buchanan:

The C. F. BEVERLY whom Stephen Gamaliel Sellers married 21 Nov 1877 was
Catherine F. BEVERLY, sister of my gr-grandmother Malissa Ann Isabelle
(BEVERLY) DARNELL. Catherine is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, in
Montgomery,
AL, next to the graves of my gr-grandparents, Dr. Benjamin Franklin
DARNELL
and Malissa Ann Isabelle (BEVERLY) DARNELL. Catherine's tombstone reads:

            AUNTIE
    CATHERINE BEVERLY SELLERS
            1855 - 1938

I have no documented information on the parentage/ancestry of Malissa and
Catherine. Supposedly, their parents were James BEVERLY and Mary Ann
(WHALEY) BEVERLY. If anyone knows anything about the Beverlys or the
Whaleys, I would appreciate help.
