To all eca: Whereas eca: Now Know Yee that I the said ffrancis Nicholson Esqr: Governor eca: Doe with the advice and Consent of the Councill of State accordingly Give and Grant unto John Saxon one thousand twenty and four acres of Land lying and being in St: Peters parish in New Kent County thus bounded begining at a white oake Marked Corner tree on the North East side of one of the Branches of Pamunkey River Called goose Creeke or little River and runing East forty three degrees and a quarter North twenty five pole then west thirty five degrees and a quarter North two hundred Ninety two pole then South fourteen degrees and one quarter west Crossing the said Creek six hundred and two pole Divideing this from [Corners?] land then East two hundred Eighty nine pole to a white oake then East thirty six Degrees North one hundred twenty two pole to a pine then East forty degrees North one hundred twenty five pole to a hiccory on the North west side of goose Creeke then up the Meanders thereof Makeing good in two right lines Nearest west twenty Eight Degrees North one hundred thirty seven pole, and North one hundred Eighty two pole to the white oake It begun the said land being Due unto the said John Saxon by and for the Importacon of twenty one persons into this Colony whose names are to be in the Records Mentioned under this patent To have and To hold eca: to be held eca: Yeilding and Paying eca: Provided eca: Given under My hand and the Seale of the Colony this 24th: day of october Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred & one
