Wow, what an article. It surprised me to hear of a Sellers Hotel!  deja
vue.......
There is a Seller's Hotel, which has fallen in due to age, in central Texas
in a town called Goldthwaite. This Sellers Hotel was started by a Sellers
family that came to Texas from Tennessee. About the same time as the
Bilbrey's that left Tennessee and wound up in Lampasas, Texas. Lampasas is
one town over from Goldthwaite! What a small world we live in..........
For those who wish to know more, don't come to me! I suggest contacting the
Mills County Coordinator! I got my story from a Goldthwaite old timer! He
also told me about the "Lampasas Mob" and how most of the old families in
Goldthwaite derived from members of the mob!! Although most won't admit
it!!
I just LOVE small towns with history!!
