I'm working on a research project involving MB Sellers I's nephew, Colonel Lewis Garret Galloway (1809 - 1869) if your are interested. Lewis was Secretary of State for Mississippi in 1841-43. He was at one time more wealthy than his uncle MB Sellers I juding by acres owned and slaves owned. The civil war destroyed all and I've just learned that this once prominant family is buried in graves with no markers. In fact, the grave he's buried in was purchased by his brother-in-law! His tale is quite facinating. They are buried in Elmwood Cemetery, in Memphis, TN.
