Message Board Post:

James M Sellers and his first wife (Mary E ??) had a child named Alpha Jane Sellers (b 1851) which married Jesse R Yates in 1869, Coffee Co, Tn. I am descended from this couple. I am trying to find out the parents of James M Sellers and the surname of his first wife. Jesse Yates died in Coffee Co in 1881. Alpha Sellers Yates remarried to Green B Smith (later divorced) and can be found in 1900 at Bell Co, Texas.
