My 4th great grandfather, James Sellers was born about 1759. He served in
the Revolutionary War and lived in Burk County, North Carolina before moving
to Grainger County. James died in Grainger County, Tennessee December 20,
1843.

My 3rd great grandfather, John Sellers was born August 12, 1802 in North
Carolina and died September 19, 1860 in Grainger County and is buried Nicely
Cemetery in Grainger County. I had the opportunity to visit Nicely Cemetery
in 2004. The Sellers were members of the Beach Grove Baptist Church which
is adjacent to the Cemetery. John married Eleanor Brock August 27, 1822 in
Grainger County.

John and Eleanor Brock were the parents of my 2nd great grandmother, Amie
Ann Sellers, born February 4, 1824 who married Joseph Thomas Chandler.

I would be pleased to exchange information concerning this family.

TERESA, thanks.

YOU are looking just for John Isaac Smiths parents? = his obit or his kids know where he died? write/phone them? =

appears he has a WW1 draft card = no extra info, except born February 25, 1887 Grainger Co, Tn
And I didn't see him in 1900 Grainger Co., Tn census, but, didn't check all spellings.
And other counties very close to check out also.

WHO are his brothers/sisters? = ASK family AND then you can prove him to a family in 1900!

TELL us exactly what and whom you are looking for if I didn't cover it above.

IDA SELLERS 1886 GRAINGER CO, TN appears to be the daughter of JOHN L. SELLERS 1857 TN and MARTHA unknown=
(need to check the Marriages of Grainger Co., Tn and they will tell you)

and his father appears to be JOEL SELLERS 1820 TN/VA , unproven by me to his father.

Thanks for sharing SELLERS.
