We have no Hickman wills in Brunswick Co. Are there Hickman wills
in AL?
Do we have ANY of these 6 boys born 1790/1800 of Thomas SELLERS proven?
The 1810 BRUNSWICK CO, NC census would probably be better to trace
ages
- I'll try and add the HICKMANS to it.=

IF you have ANY other info which may help sort out these families
-
please send.

WHO IS THIS?
ALSO, have we checked the 1812 War for HICKMANS?
marie, iowa
Thanks for the quick response. There were two Harmon HICKMANs
from the
Brunswick/Columbus Co., NC area.
MY Harmon HICKMAN (1795, Brunswick Co., NC - 1884, Pike Co., AL) married
Mary Hanna "Polly" SELLERS. He fought in the War of 1812.
The other Harmon HICKMAN was born sometime later in either Brunswick
or
Columbus Co., NC and married a Mary or Anne L. BENTON. He fought
in the
War Between the States. Typically a number of researchers get
them mixed
up and try "to force a connection". I have what I consider PROOF
on mine.
Thanks again and keep in touch,
"SONNY"
