Recently signed on and wonder if anyone has any
information on a Renzey
Sellers b. abt 1822, married Matthew Phillips, 1 Feb. 1838 in
Columbia
County, Ga.
in
>From the 1860 census records they were living Columbia
County, Ga.
and had the following children: Henry, William F. (Bud) , Lawrence,
James, Wilder, Elizabeth, Mathews, Ellis, Preston (Press) Phillips.
I would appreciate any help with this family.

Thanks for responding to my request concerning Renzey Sellers of
Columbia County, Ga. Sorry I have so little information on the
Sellers
line to share. I do not know if the William Sellers/Sellars living
in
Columbia Co., Ga is related to Renzey or not. Renzey's name maybe
spelled Wrenzey as her son William named a daughter Wrenzey.
As I now live in Arkansas, I don't get back to the source of my
research. In researching the "Phillips"
line, a friend made a copy of the 1860 Columbia Co., Ga census Matthew
Phillips family for me.
I will pass along what was sent to me.

17 Aug. 1840, Dearing, Columbia County (now McDuffie County, Ga),
buried at Fort Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, McDuffie County, Ga.,
death date: 12 Feb 1910. Birth and death date are from grave
stone
inscription. He married Martha Reeves. Martha was born
10 Nov 1840 and
is buried at Ft. Creek Bap. Church Cemetery. No death date on
grave
stone. Martha's parents were Charles Reeves and Margarette ? of Columbia
Co., Ga.

and next to EDGEFIELD CO, SC
We also have a RAYMOND and DEWITT SELLERS here - don't know who they
