Last Will and Testament of Samuel Sellers

        IN THE NAME OF GOD, Amen, I Samuel Sellers of the County of Cumberland in the province of Pennsylvania and Lurgan township, being weak in body but sound memory blessed be God do this Second day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Seventy Six make and publish this my Last Will and testament in the manner following.  That is to say, first I give Soul to God and my body to the earth from whence It was taken.
        And, Ittam 1st,  I do Will and Bequeath to each of my children such parts of the moneys due by the bonds due by William Leggit & Alexander Richey or their heirs being do on the first day of May each bond viz.: one Bond of Seventy Five pounds with credit on it for twenty six shillings due ye 1st day of May last & another due the first day May next of thirty pounds & another due on the first day of May in the Year one thousand Seven Hundred & Seventy seven and a 4th Bond due 1st May one thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy eight a 5th bond Due 1st of May one thousand Seven Seventy nine a 6th Bond Due 1st May one thousand seven hundred and eighty a 7th Bond due 1st day May one thousand seven hundred and eighty one  a 8th Bond due 1st of May one thousand seven hundred and eighty two the whole amounting to two hundred and fifty pounds; and first I will that all my lawful debts and funeral charges be first paid.
        Also, I do will and bequeath to my eldest son  *Isaac Sellers forty pounds Lawful money of Pennsylvania at the expiration of the date of the last bond herein mentioned and providing he should die without issue that then the same to be equally divided between my sons viz.: John & Samuel my daughter Margaret Sellers or their heirs  Likewise I will and bequeath to my Second son John Sellers Twenty pounds aforesaid money to be paid in the manner aforesaid.
        Also, I give to my son Samuel Sellers sixty eight pounds of the above mentioned money arising or to become due from the said bonds.  Also I give and bequeath to my daughter Margaret Seventy pounds like lawful money out of the aforesaid Bonds and all to be paid as before mentioned.
        Also, I give to my son Isaac my blue Great Coat.  Also, I give to my son John my Brown Sage, thy Coat & Jacket, and the remainder of my wearing apparel I give to my son Samuel.  Likewise & it is my Will that no charge shall be brought Against my son John for anything he received from me before this date.
        Also, I allow that all the remainder of my goods belonging to my estate be Sold and equally divided amongst my children.
        I also Will and bequeath to my brother Nathaniel Sellers' Wife one half Joe or the value thereof out of my other effects providing.  Providing (sic) I should die there and that to be over and above all other charges of my funeral costs.
        Also, I will that providing my son  *Samuel Sellers should die without issue that then the aforesaid Money willed to him shall be equally divided between John Sellers & Isaac Sellers and Margaret Sellers or their heirs.
        Also, I do constitute and appoint my trusty friends Daniel Duncan and James McCall to be my whole and sole Executors of this my last will and testament.
         In witness whereof I the said Samuel Sellers have to this my last Will and testament set my hand & Seal the day and Year written.
