Hope you can help.  I just recently found the maiden name of my Grandmother.

EMMA  AUGUSTA  (SOLLERS) MILLER  ( 1848-1892).

She was born in Pennsylvania. Died in Beech Creek, Clinton County,
In the 1880 PA., Clinton County, Beech Creek census she says HER parents were
born in New Jersey.  I can't verify this as I know NOTHING about any of her
family.  And I have NO idea who her parents were.   I'm not sure of the exact
spelling of SOLLERS.  It's too hard to determine from my Grandmother Olive
Eliza MILLER's death certificate... but it appears to be SOLLERS.

Emma Augusta SOLLERS ( 1848-1892) married my G-Grandfather William R. MILLER
( Jul 1846-April 1916 ) between 1870 and 1878 in Pennsylvania. They had at
least 4 children :  Olive, George, Walter & Ella.

She is buried in Blanchard, Liberty Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania.

Can you please check whatever information you have and see if you can find a
connection ?  Perhaps she is in your files or records somewhere ?

Thank You so much.....  !!

Thanks. If you could find an obit for her, may tell parents names OR place born.
Death Certificate may show parents names.
Otherwise, you can search the 1850 census for a child about this age and name.
Where was First child born?
Who were WM. R MILLERS parents might help you locate them.
Would appreciate a copy of the 1880 extraction of their census and any other SELLERS/SOLLARS living there. I checked the 1850 CENTRE/CLINTON co's and didn't see anything.
Thanks for sharing what you can.

I'll keep you advised of my progress.  It seems there is a ton of info out
there...  Just have to find the connection.

My Millers seem to originate in the Lancaster County (Penn. Dutch Country)
area. Also Bucks and Chester County, PA.  My direct line seems to have
migrated to up-state Pa. about 1800.

I'll fwd the census info soon.  It seems there is a few SOLLERS and SOLARS in
the 1880 Census for PA, Clinton County.  I try to do my serious research on
the weekends..

Take Care..   I'll keep you advised if I make a connection to any of the
Sollers out there.

Thanks again...

SABRINA, Thanks.
YOU need an 1850 CENSUS = kinda available

SO we don't NEED earlier info? to PROVE families
WE probably didn't KNOW these families before these KIDS were married in =

then YOU  need the 1880 CENSUS on these FAMILIES=
WHICH will show ages and places of births and parents births.

OR OBITS from COUNTY/STATE genealogy

THEN you may have their parents and can trace where born, etc and brothers and sisters =
Will show marriages, etc=

WHAT info have you extracted in these COUNTIES =
where KIDS  BORN =
THIS is what you need.=

PROVEN families and Work Backwards
NOT old families and down =
unproven to YOUR FAMILY = 0

THANKS FOR sharing, marie, iowa
