I am Sharmin and live in Leawood (Kansas City) Mo. I still have
family in
Amazonia, Savannah, and St. Joseph. The CASTLE family had a family
reunion
this summer over looking the French Bottoms where a lot of our relatives
settled and were raised. My gg grandmother was the first baby born
in St.
Joseph, Mo. after it was incorporated. Mary "Polly" Sollars. Many wings
of
my
family have had alot to do with Buchanan Co.,
but only the SOLLARS,
WELTER,
CASTLE and McKENNY families are directly related to St. Joseph. The
others
including the WELTER, and CASTLE families are mainly Amazonia (Andrew Co.)
