Good afternoon.  I am looking for info on the  Robbins family and as many
have married into your Sellers' families I was wondering if you might be
able to lend a hand.  I have also e-mailed some of your group b/c I am
related to Cicero Womble who I have seen questioned in your Sellers - Nash
Co. postings.  Any assistance would be wonderful.  Thanks!

Here is the latest info I have on my Robbins.

. Wiley2 "Willie" Haywood Robbins (Unknown1).

Willie was born on either November 15, 1822 or March 16, 1827, in Nash Co.,
NC, where he died on either April 3, 1904 or April 30, 1904.  He was
married
twice; first, to Sarah Little of Elm City, NC,  who probably died in 1852.
Willie was married, second, on date unknown at the bride's home to Sarah
"Sallie" E. Rose, daughter of Enos and Mary (maiden name unknown) Rose.
Sallie was born on either December 3, 1830 or December 3, 1836.  Sallie
died
on September 30, 1907.

CENSUS INFORMATION:
        Willie Robbins' family first appeared in Nash Co., NC in the 1860
Federal Census.
In 1870, Willie and his family resided in Nash Co., NC, Liberty Township,
household 027.  Willie aged 41, farmer, 100, 400; Sallie aged 34; Simon
aged
17; Mary aged 12; Fred aged 9; Jesse aged 7; Enos aged 6; Jane aged 5;
Cherry aged 3; Frances aged 1/3; and Elizabeth Robbins aged 75 at home.
MILITARY SERVICE:

The following military information for Willie H. Robbins may or may not be
for Wiley "Willie" Haywood Robbins.  At this time, I have not been able to
make that determination.

 "ROBBINS, WILLIE H., Private
                Resided in Edgecombe County and enlisted in Nash County at
age 32, September 10, 1861.  Mustered in as Corporal.  Reported absent on
sick furlough on October 9, 1861.  Reduced to ranks on December 14, 1861.
Failed to return from furlough and was reported absent without leave in
May,
1862.  Dropped from the rolls of the company subsequent to December 31,
1862."
                -Served in Co. I, 30th Regiment N.C. Troops
 

LAND DEEDS:
I have a land deed dated January 12, 1879 that was witnessed by W.H.
Robbins.
 

VOTER REGISTRATION:
Willie's name is listed as Wiley in the Nash County North Carolina Voter
Registration of 1902-1908, abstracted by Timothy W. Rackley, 1995,
Kernersville, NC.
The child of Willie Robbins and Sarah (Little) Robbins was:

born November 9, 1852 in Nash Co., NC and died January 9, 1896.

Children of Willie Robbins and Sallie (Rose) Robbins, all born in Nash Co.,

        5.      iii.    Penelope Robbins was born about 1859 and died after
1860 in Nash Co., NC.

45.  CICERO4 WOMBLE (ISAAC3, NATHANIEL GREEN2, JOHN1) was born June 15 or
25, 1872 in Nash County, N. C., and died December 02, 1898.  He is buried in
the Robbins/Womble Cemetery in Nashville Township southwest corner of SR1436
and SR1437.  He married ANNIE ELIZABETH SELLERS (born April 27, 1873 in Nash
Co., NC; died December 17, 1938 in Nash Co., NC) on December 18, 1895 in
Nash County, N. C., daughter of WILLIAM F. SELLERS (born about 1855) and
MARY ELIZABETH LINDSEY.  The marriage was performed at W.T. Sellers' by J.C.
Harper, JP.  Witnesses were George Washington Womble, S.P. Phelps and Willie
Womble, James Walter.  Source: Nash Co., NC Marriage Register, 1872-1905,
Volumes 1, 2, 3, Microfilm Reel C.069 63992.

Notes for CICERO WOMBLE:
1. Cicero Womble is listed in the 1880 census in Nash Co. NC.
2. Cicero Womble's name is spelled CESSERO on his tombstone.

Notes for ANNIE ELIZABETH SELLERS:
1. After Cicero and Annie's divorce, she married a Holland and has at least
5 more children .
2. Annie is buried at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville, NC.

        ii.     JENNIE WOMBLE, born 1895.
