Rhonda, I don't know my Andrew's middle initial--if he had one.
He may
have been born in Pennsylvania before his mother and maternal
grandparents migrated to the Illinois frontier. Or he may have
been
born in Illinois shortly after they arrived. He may be the Andrew
Sellers who was working in the mines near Denver in the 1860 census.

Thanks, Frank. Hartwell was Drury and Demaris' oldest child. Others were John T., Temperence, Thomas, Melissa, Matthew, Lucinda, Drury jr., Letitia (or Lucretia), emily, Mary E., Louisa, Paralee, and Demaris Ann. In the 1840's, they moved from Schuyler County to Buchanas County, Missouri, They later returned to Schuyler County where Drury and Demaris died, he in 1853 and she in 1860. Nope, I have no data on Howell Sellers. BobROBERT - Thanks for your family chart - linked you to counties/states where kids born - But, we don't have much info on those counties!
On the Schuyler Co, Il page we have a couple wills. We Could Use any
of the Other Documents /Wills that you have or were printed - check and

Marie, I'm dependent on Fran Laker for any info that I have before
Stanton Sellers' time.
Thanks for the links. I'll check them out.
Bob
Samuel Clayton (1826-1903), a nephew of Elizabeth Richey, wrote that
the
family (but he doesn't specifically include Elizabeth) arrived in the
fall of 1829. Her uncle John arrived some time before her father
and
mother did. Andrew was born 25 July 1830. William Sellers,
his
(half?)-brother was born 25 December 1833.
So Andrew may have been at least six months old when Elizabeth and he
arrived on the Illinois frontier. Andrew may have been named
for his
father's brother.
If she arrived with her family in 1829, then he must have been conceived
in Illinois.
I don't think he ever gave Pennsylvania or any place other than Illinois
as his place of birth. Elizabeth's father died in Illinois 14
February
1832.
The Andrew Sellers who was working in or around the mines near
Denver in 1860 gave Tennessee as his father's place of birth.
That is
where Elizabeth's husband was born. But he didn't give Pennsylvania
as
his mother's place of birth. I think he gave Illinois as his
mother's
and his own place of birth, but I'm depending on memory for that.
