I am searching for information on David Sellers of unknown county, possibly
born in Littleton, and Eliza Jane Bartlow.

Thank you for your query in an effort to help me.  My information is very
thin.  I have a handwritten note saying that David Sellers was born on
November 7. 1850 in Littleton, IL, and another note saying that he was the
son of John Sellers of Nashville, TN and Elizabeth Ritchie from
Pennsylvania.  He was in Cowley County, Kansas, perhaps near the town of
New
Salem, in 1874, and I think that he lived his entire life there.  The
handwritten note says he married Eliza Jane Bartlow, who was born February
25, 1853 also in Littleton, and that her father was Iven Lemuel Bartllow,
Illinois.  The had three children, Bertie Maude, Nettie Elizabeth, and
Howard Iven -- all born in Tisdale, Kansas.

Bertie Maude was my wife's grandmother.

I hope this information leads to a link with your Sellers.  It is all I

Thank you for the information you sent yesterday on the Sellers family.  Am
I right in thinking that it was the 1880 census for Cowley County that was
the source of information that an "Elizabeth, 61, TN, mother" was in the
household?  If so, perhaps I should get the microfilm to learn what
additional information it might provide.   Since I had no birthdate on
"Elizabeth Ritchie of PA" I don't understand the problem between 1809 and
1819. You likely know something I don't.  On another question, I don't have
any information on whether John T. Sellers died in IL or in KS.
Incidentally, are you sure that David Sellers was the son of John T?

Does the Bartlow name come up in any of the information you have?

I Would Read the 1850/1860/1870 and LATER census on Her to determine Place of birth and She may have death certificate or obit in KS?

HIS mother is suppose to be ELIZABETH RITCHEY born ca1809PA/1893
and father JOHN  SELLERS  1808/1874

The John SELLERS Estate of 1874 Schuyler Co, Il lists wife Elizabeth and a David SELLERS and others as heirs.
JOHN SELLERS died 1874 IS listed as John T. is some of their correspondence. His son/Heir is listed as JNO T. SELLERS in Estate
