This is rather late, but I am researching
HolmesCounty
Sellers.
I am descended from Thomas L. sellers
of Holmes County. There was a Samuel Sellers in the county
in 1850 and 1860 censuses. I theorize that
Samuel was a nephew of Thomas. Are you still researching?
We talked before, have you found out any more
information on the family? I've found where Thomas
and Finetta's daughter Dorcas and her family are
buried. She married a Pierce. This was the last
child of Thomas' that I had to find. I don't know if
he had a nephew by the name of Samuel, I'll do a
little research and see what I come up with, I have a
listing of all of Thomas' brothers & sisters and maybe
can find something in the census. Let me know what
else you find out.

What evidence is there for John F. Sellers being the father
of Lydia Sellers? This relationship is
documented in several online genealogies but no sources given.
If you know of the basis for this
relationship, please forward. Lydia and her husband, John
Basford, and family migrated to Jackson
County, Florida in the 1840's. John F. Sellers made the same
journey.
Is this the same Lydia Sellers
from Whitley/Pulaski Co,Ky
who was marr: to Nelson Ramsey at one time?
