John Geib b 11 Dec 1803 Lancaster PA, died 23 Jan 1886 Lake Twp. Stark
Co. OH.
Children, Sarah, Jesse, Sam, Solomon, Mary, Hannah, Elizabeth.
The family came to Stark Co. OH in 1836.
Hannah is probably the dau of David and Sarah Ruth of Lancaster
Co. PA.
David (RUTH?,msh) died abt 1821 and left 14 minor children.
A guardianship record dated April 23, 1824 states children
Curtis and Hannah are over 14 years of age and ask for Benjamin Long
to be their guardian.
That puts Hannah 's birth close enough to the 1807 date to be the dau of David
and Sarah. Besides which, they lived very near Jacob Sellers family in Coventry
Twp. Summit Co. (my line). Marilyn

Hi! Hope everyone is enjoying the start of the weekend------I have
2
things---first of all on a marriage cert. of an ancestor is has
the last
name of Selteser with Sellers in parenthesis--------this is the
first
I've seen of this spelling does anyone know if that indicates
a specific
Sellers line. Secondly I want to add to my info I found the burial
of
John and Leah Sellers. The dates are a little different than
what I had.
John Sellers died Nov. 29,1889 aged 77 years and 21 days.
Leah wife of John Sellers died March 27,1895. Aged 81 years.
They are buried in Carpenters Union cemetery in West Earl
Township,
Lancaster county. Any connections?????? -----------nancy
Can anyone help Nancy with her question?.
Bob
In researching my Sellers line and hitting a dead end I
received a will from Lancaster County from
a Nancy Sellers(I don't
know if she is the right one)but in her will
she left her daughter
Rebecca's husband Jacob Stauffer and her good
friend
Jonathan Stauffer as executors of her will-----I
am assuming
Jonathan is jacobs father. If anyone has come
across them in their
research I would very much appreciate the
info. Nancy Sellers died
in 1855 and lived in Pequa Township at the
time. Thanks nancy
