I am seeking information on the family of one Catharine Zellers b.
11-2-1814,
d/o Henry Zellers. She married Daniel Knouse
in 1833 and d. 1850. Info
on
Daniel Knouse is
that he was b. 1812 in Northumberland co., PA and d.
4-20-1897
in Juniata
co., PA . If you are able to help, please reply to

Thanks.
Thank you for your reply - Don't usually get a response that quick.
I believe the census info you sent is for the family I referenced.
The
info
I already had matches almost perfectly with that
from the census. The
major
discrepancy being
the ages of the adults. But a look at the ages of the
children
vs. parents in the census leads me to believe the parents were
several years older which matches my info. What I'm really looking
for,
though, is information on the Zellers'. I have nothing
more than Catharine
d/o Henry, and Catharine's vitals (b. 11-2-1814;
d. 9-21-1850).
Information I have says that she married Daniel Knouse
in 1833 and died
shortly after giving birth to my gggrandmother, Leah
Knouse. Thanks a lot!

Do we know Daniel KNOUSE's dad? evidently the Catherine living
with them on the 1850 census is his mother?
I did
find we have a HENRY ZELLER married a Catherine KNOUSE, etc - IF you
find a copy of this will of Frederick ZELLER - Please keep us
up-to-date.

Marie - I have a geanealogy for a great many Knouse/Knauss'. I
haven't
researched any of it personally, it's something I downloaded
off the
Internet. The Catharine Knouse that married Henry
Zeller was a younger
sister of Daniel's. Daniel's and
Catharine's dad was Christian Knouse. I
think it's possible
that Henry Zeller and Catharine Zellers were siblings
but
that is only speculation. Thanks -- Drew --
