Lena Mae Sellers, 88, of Winona, died of heart failure at Vaiden Community Living Center in Vaiden on Sunday, January 3, 2010.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5, at Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Winona, with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery in
Winona. Sister Betty Summers will officiate the services.
Visitation will be Monday, January 4, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Lee Funeral Home and on Tuesday, January 5, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sellers was the daughter of the late William Jessie Shaw and the late Lena Bell Chandler Shaw, and the widow of the late Albert May Sellers. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener who loved to cook and read. She loved her family, animals, and helping others. Mrs. Sellers was a member of Scotland Baptist Church in Winona. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Kipp Stone, and three brothers, Roy Lester Shaw, Walter Shaw, and Frank Shaw.
Mrs. Sellers is survived by two daughters, Barbara DeLoach of Winona and Joanne Parker of Gulfport; six grandchildren, Dennis Parker, Derek Sellers, Steve Parker, Joey Stone, Kim Barnes, and Lena Tatum; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Walter Lee Shaw
Mr. Walter Lee Shaw, 83, of Winona, died March 16 of heart failure at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital.
Son of the late William Jesse and Lena Bell Shaw, he was a member of the Scotland Baptist Church, a World War II veteran, a Quartermaster of V. F. W., Post 3938 and a member of American Legion, Post 52.
Mr. Shaw was preceded in death by his wife, the late Dorothy Murphy Shaw, a brother, Roy Lester Shaw.
Funeral services were held March 19 at Lee Funeral Home Chapel. burial was in Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Norris Corley and Rev. Gregg Woodard officiating.
Mr. Shaw is survived by one stepson, Billy Murphy of Winona; one sister, Lena Mae Sellers of Winona; one brother Frank Harris Shaw of Kosciusko.
Pallbearers were Derek Sellers, Joey Stone, John Tatum, Roger Waters, Billy Murphy, George Heath III.
Honorary pallbearers were Kipp Stone, Dennis Parker, Steve Parker, Bobby Joe Johnson, Wayne Shaw, Frank Shaw, C. E. Upchurch, Sam McGarrity, George Tuberville, Jim Paul Jones, members of V.F.W., Post 3938, members of American Legion, Post 52.
Lee funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
