Subject: Re: [MOPIKE-L] BRUNAUGH
My father (George Sellers) worked on the ferry owned by the Hollidays when
he was a young man, as did his uncle, Fred Carpentier. The name of it was The
Rover. My sister has a 2'x3' painting (hanging in her family room!) that was
done as a gift for him by a friend of one of my aunts.

Janet, was it Fred Carpientier who also built the little white house
that sits in the side of the River's Edge Motel who worked on the
ferry along with Beetle Frazier? alsoGeorge Sellers (your dad),
brother of Rosalie? Rosalie was the nicest woman to help host a meal
for us two times when my family came into town for burials of my
father and my uncle. Rosalie was a real sweet person. You have good
genes!
We got into a discussion of the POWs in Louisiana during WWII. Amy
