Henry Clay Sellers
Last rites for Henry Clay Sellers, aged 72, well known resident
of the
Clarksville section, who died last Thursday at 12:20 o'clock
at his home,
were held last Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the home and at 1
o'clock at the
Clarksville Christian Church. Rev. C. G. Aldrich conducted
the services.
Interment was in Hewitt Cemetery.
Mr. Sellers was born in West Virginia,
September 17, 1862, a son of Mr.
and Mrs. Thomas Sellers, but lived in this district for several
years. He was
formerly a farmer and carpenter.
His wife, Mrs. Belle Fordyce Sellers, died several years ago.
He is survived
by three sons: Glenn Sellers, Clarksville;
William E. Sellers, of Fayette City,
and Frank Sellers, of Clarksville;
one daughter, Mrs. John Black of Detroit,
Mich.; four brothers, James, T. J. and Mallard Sellers, of
Middlebourne, W.
Va., and Frank Sellers, St. Marys,
W. Va., and 17 grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
