Sellers. Joseph Hackney Sellers is the son of Laird Sellers and Annie

Hackney; grandson of James T/Y Sellers and Patience Parker Sellers of

Chatham County, NC. Joseph Hackney Sellers was first married to Polly Gwinn

1828 in Wilson County, Tennessee. He married Rebecca Bates in 1841.
