Hello.
My name is Daniel . I was born in Ecuador in 1975. My parents are also from Ecuador. We've lived in Miami, Florida since I was five.

QUERY: I am searching for the Sellers family in Topeka, Kansas to which I am related through my maternal great grandfather named Richard Warren Sellers. Richard went to Ecuador aprox during the 1920's as a railroad engineer and died in a tragic railroad accident. His brothers Claudio (or perhaps "Claude", "Claudius") and Roy stayed in the U.S. Roy had a daughter named Mary Anne (or "Marian") who in turn had a daughter Anita. The U.S. Sellers family had made contact with the Ecuador Sellers in the early 80's and were even scheduled to travel there but their travel plans were interrumpted by a death in the U.S. family. Shortly thereafter, there was a flood in Guayaquil, Ecuador that destroyed all records (letter, pictures, etc) and the elders in Ecuador who had made contact have since passed away. THANKS!

Addie Cellers of Tecumseh, Ks, married Jay Stull of Marshalltown, Ia. In process of trying to connect Stull of of Marshalltown, IA, with w/Sylvester Stull of Stull, Ks located next to Tecumseh, Ks (Sylvester Stull of Ks had father b Pa & mother b NJ), I ran across I.C.Stull b Pa and Samuel Decker b NJ living in same dwelling w/ James Sellers b La in the 1850 census family 177 for East Feliciana, Louisiana. A family named Decker b NJ also lived in Tecumseh, Ks. Addie Cellers family was from Jefferson County, OH, but thought this interesting coincidence. Any connection anyone knows of?

TECUMSEH TOWNSHIP

ALEXANDER CELLERS, farmer, Section 6, P. O. Tecumseh, owns 220 acres, about 175 in cultivation and the balance in timber and pasture. Came to Kansas March, 1876. Rented for one year in Tecumseh Township, and located on this place in 1877. Has been director on the School Board for three years. Was born in Ohio, October 31, 1824, and came from native place to Kansas. Was married March 29, 1859, to Miss Mary Powell. Has six children - Isaac, Alexander, Jason P., Joseph, Sarah A. and Mary B. Is a member of the Presbyterian Church.
