I have the following Sellers:  Henry L. Sellers m. Susannah, their son Henry
Thomas Sellers(1829-1886).       Henry Thomas Sellers m. Nancy Cook and then
Caledonia Kennington. Son of Henry T. and Nancy: John Milton Sellers
(1853-1932).  I am descended through John's son Arry Boyd Sellers Sr.  Sorry,
I do not have places of birth and death but I do know they originated in NC
(probably eastern NC) and moved southward to FL. Anybody sound familiar?
So many branches of my family (Segars, Basford,
Sellers,Moore) started in eastern NC then migrated down thru GA and AL and
most ended up in Jackson Co Fl. It makes me wonder how far back these
families knew one another and if they could have even travelled on a wagon
train together! Let me know if you have any of these Sellers. Thanks, Steph

Hi! I saw your posting on the Cook discussion list and I just had to respond!
My mother was a Cook and my father was a Sellers. Although my parents were
born in Florida, both families originated in NC several generations back. I
am looking for James Cook from NC b. about 1817, or his brother Thomas Cook.
Unknown county and unknown parents!!!!  The Sellers come from eastern
NC...but I have little info on them. I have John milton Sellers and Henry
Thomas Sellers way back (I don't have it all with me right now) and one of
them married Nancy Cook!!! It's very confus ing. I do know of other ancestors
I have from Sampson Co around 1784. John Segars and his son Southward Segars
are my ancestors from Sampson CO!! Anyway, if any of this looks familiar
please reply, and happy hunting!
