    Hello Marie,

I am your typical listserv stalker, I get all the mail but rarely post. I
have
only recently been looking for family information and know very little
about
genealogical research. I am connected to this line through Bert Walter -
son of
William F. My grandfather was Bert Walter Jr. and my uncle is Bert Walter
III.

Yesterday, you (and Elizabeth) provided more information on our family
history
than my uncle has been able to find after years of research. Thank you very
much and keep up the good work!

In sharing family members: how much do you normally want and keep track of?
Another question for you and anyone else who might wish to respond: Is
there
some place on the Internet that keeps a graphical chart of families? It
would
be nice to be able to go to a site and query for say "Bert Walter Sellers
in TN
born between 1850-1900", have it return a list; click on a likely suspect
and
have it display a chart of known (and suspected) parents, children, and
siblings. Anyone know of anything like this? It seems like and obvious
Internet
application.

uncle.  I
 would enjoy sharing information on our respective sides of the family. I
 attempted to e-mail you directly but was notified by my mail program
that
 FamilyNames@aol.com does not have a valid DNS entry. Do you have a more
direct
 e-mail address?  I'll try and trace the DNS problem from my side when I
get a
 chance (I manage the DNS for the county in which I live so I am familiar
with
 it's peculiarities.)
