Marie and Georgia,

John C. Sellars was my great-great-grandfather and I have a copy of his will
as well as some other papers concerning his estate.  Unfortunately the will
doesn't give his wife's name (it was Martha "Millie" Morris, daughter of
William Morris and Susannah White of Dickson Co., TN), it just says he
leaves all his property after his debts are paid to his wife.  He said he
wanted all his children to have one saddle worth twelve dollars each bought
as they are needed and his son, John J. Sellers (spelled that way in the
will) to have a horse bridle and saddle when he arrives to the age of twenty
years old.  John C. Sellars appointed James M. Brown his executor.  John C.
died in 1852 according to a petition produced in Williamson County Court in
Feb. 1853.  The petition was brought from Millie Sellers, D. C. Sellers,
William Sellers and James M. Brown, executor of John Sellers, deceased,
against Susan Sellers, Almarinda  Sellers, Margaret Sellers and Sally
Sellers (these were all minor children of John C. and Milly Sellers).
Unfortunately I haven't transcribed all these papers from the copies I
received from Williamson Co.  I have a copy of the Inventory and a list of
claims against the estate.  If you need any additional information please
let me know.

By the way, John C. Sellars owned land in both Williamson County and Dickson
County, TN.
