name was Stanton Sellers. He was born in Geneva New York on Dec.1,1921.
His fathers name was also Stanton Sellers,my grandmothers was Lena
Sellers.I have
no other information on them.Any information I can get would be helpful.

My father said his famiy came from Germany.

We have PA SELLERS that went to MT earlier - Will see what we can collect
and
know-My NY and MT SELLERS info isn't this new. But, someone may know these
names
and advise us. Any Obits? Death Certificates? Aunts/Uncles?

They may have a 1920/1925 etc city /county directory listing families

Thought I would let you know I found a death record on my grandfather
Stanton Sellers.Born in Benten ,Pa. on Mar.20,1895.Died on
Sept.21,1927.In Geneva ,New York.His father name was John Sylvester
Sellers.Born in Sonestown Pa.
His mother name was Clara Kile born in Benton,Pa.
Do you know of anyone searching on these people?
I have no birthdates on great grandparents.

JOE, Thanks - Gaining - on my 1880 soundex I don't see or can't tell if
his dad John SYLVESTER SELLERS is on there. IF we had the 1900 soundex,
we might be able to find his dad. His dad should have a death certificate
also.The library at Geneva, NY probably has a copy of his Obit and tells
his brothers/sisters, etc.
Benton Co, PA = Columbia Co= KILES are here - didn't see SELLERS
Sonestown = Sullivan Co, PA= didn't see SELLERS -
They may Not have went until after 1880 which is my oldest records-
WHAT was his kids names?
What was any brother/sisters names?

Got a obituary from Finger Lake Times in Geneva.He had three
sisters,Mrs.Hazel
Kaufman,Miss Martha Sellers,and Mrs.Esta Martin,also three
brothers.Earl,Joe and
Ethelbert Sellers.He left behind 5 children.Geraldine.Junior my
father,Sena,Dorothy
and Florence.His mother was Mrs. Allen Carter at the time.I hear there
met still be
a sister in New York.,and one in Texas if still living.He was also a
member of the
Loyal Order of Moose.Still searching in Pa.

JOANN - Great - I have my 1880 soundex for PA in the machine and will look
for this
JOSEPH SELLERS family - I am assuming he was born PA ?

AND if JOSEPH SELLERS born 1842 was born PA (should be on  the census you
just read)
He should be our 1850 PA census, which I Think we have!

as Lena F. Wade She was born in London ,England.She was my grand mother.She
was Married to Stanton Eugene Sellers Sr.I really think you have connected

lost relatives.

I have some more info on mine line of Sellers.In 1850 census records of
Pa.My Sellers was in Dauphin county,Middletown Township.there i found
my great grand father living with his family,names as follows.
Family no 15
Joseph Sellers -38 years -born 1813 -my gg grand father
Mary A. Sellers-35 years-born 1816- my gg grand mother
MMJoseph Sellers-8 years-born 1842 -my g grand father
A Luserene-10 years
A Mary Ann -6-years old
A Henry-1-year old
this was hard to read L-Ann-4-years old
I went back to 1790 census record in Dauphin county and found some
Sellers living there but only names of houeshold.
There was 2 Frederic Sellers
There was 2 Peter Sellers
There was 1 Phillip Sellers
I will have to do more searching on these.
Oh by the way I thoughht you would like to know that waynie2 is a
cousin of mine.Theres Still alot of relatives living in N.Y. and
Illinos we been sending e-mail to each other.
Now you can add this info to our line of Sellers.
