The “ZOLLARS” CEMETERY at Owens Run in Richhill Township, Greene Co., PA. This is not too far west from Graysville, Gray Twp., Greene Co., PA. Is this the SOLLARS CEMETERY just mis-named by the map maker? There were Zollars families in this county as well as the Sollars Family, and some seem to think the Sollars’ were actually Zollars?
If, during your visit to the Greene Co., PA visit you find anything concrete regarding this dilemma, please share it with me. There were Sollars’ & Sollers in Washington Co., PA early on as well.

Robert and Nancy,
I have never got past Levi Sollars and Elizabeth Burns, my 3rd gr-grandparents.
Levi Sollars. Sollars and his sons joined the army. Levi Sollars was sixty years of age and was unable to endure the hardships of army service and was discharged before the end of the war.
His son, Westley, was a member of Company D lst W. Virginia Cavalry. He followed the gallant Col. Farnsworth in the glorious but disastrous charge upon the Texas Rangers behind the stonewall at foot of Round Top at Gettysburg.
Levi Sollars' second son, Levi Britain Sollars, was a member of the 16th Pennsylvania Infantry. He gave the last full measure of devotion to his country. He died at age 15 in the war. His remains were brought home and was buried with honors in the family burying ground just opposite the house of Levi Sollars. This Sollars line lived in Greene County PA. I wonder where this line connects. What I have is below.
Back to you,
Robert C. Sollars
