I'm new to the list so please forgive me if this is redundant.

I'm looking for information on

Rosa SELLERS
b: abt 1891 in MO
d: guess-1933 in MO

I've found her living in MO on 1930 US Census (Sandywoods) with husband John and children George (Georgia), Deloris (Delois), and Lesa. So far as I know, she had two other children David and Lester.
Her maiden name was CHAPPELL.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your quick reply. I really don't have much more information. I don't know when or where they were married. However, just last night, I found them in the 1910 Census -- again in Sandywoods, MO. Rosa's DOB matches up but John's is off by at least 6 years. And, John is listed as born in TN. So, I guess they were married sometime before 1910.

The only child that I know married was Deloris (Delois or Delsie).
She married R.V. BOWLES and had her first child in 1940.

Family lore says Rosa died in 1933 and I've got a request into the MO state archives for a death record. And I do have newspaper articles that indicate her children were farmed out to family and neighbors to be raised.

I'm still looking for more info on John -- if he remarried and where/when he died.

Married ONE YEAR.

YOU know ROSA'S maiden name, do you have her in an1900 census with her parents?

Might try and get copy of marriage license, esp if 17 or less when married.

OR a 1900 census for a JOHN SELLERS
BUT, the death certificate may help you.

Did you check WW 1 records?

WHEN/WHERE was Deloris married?
When/Where her kids born =
OBIT on her may mention parents? And siblings.

When/ Where were kids fostered out = can you send an extraction with dates/places?
