No William Sellers listed in 1800 Darlington Census, there is a John
Sellers
though.

1850 Darlington Census shows:
Lydia Hawkins (Sellers) as head of household. John Hawkins had died 1848.

1860 Darlington Census shows:

Lydia Hawkins-74-F
Phoebe-45-F
James-35-M
Lydia-28-F

The father of Lydia Sellers may be John Sellers who was listed in the 1800
census. The William Sellers info. I got from another researcher!

Interesting note, there are two towns in this area where they lived, one
named
Lydia and the other Sellers.

John Hawkins and Lydia Sellers are my 3rd great-grandparents. Daniel
Hawkins is
my 2nd great-grandfather.

As in many cases, my Hawkins line came to the Cheraw/Darlington area from
Virginia in the mid 1700's.

Thank you for your help and if I can be of any assistance please let me
know!

Thank you,
Jeffrey S. Hawkins
