My dad forwarded me your message
Right now we don't know enough about our Sellers line to figure out if
Frank Harrison or Cornilius B. Sellers might be connected or not, but
does look like Catherine and Elmer are the right people. Does the
for Wm F. Owen list his age also? Thank you so much for your help!
JANICE, Thanks, Mine is a soundex film, so I can find people fast and
show the ages of others. The actual census would show the whole Owen ?
and neighbors, etc. This would be good info and also an 1870 census maybe
you find out Any New info, advise and thanks for sharing. marie, iowa
I went and looked at the census films yesterday. This is what I

> All five of them were listed as having been born in Pennsylvania;
> parents of all the siblings are listed as having been born in
> Elmer's father is listed as having been born in New Jersey.
> Are you connected with this Sellers line at all? Or are you
trying > to find that out?
JANICE, Thank you. Can't piece together anything with the info we have.
Lets try for a death certificate or obit on any of them.
A marriage license for SELLERS/OWENS
CHURCH records - mine are older and don't include the newer names-
SOME of this info may be online?
CIVIL WAR RECORDS IN 1860'S
1870 CENSUS may show CATHERINE F. OWEN SELLERS at home unmarried?
OR perhaps married and earlier kids died?
I have an index with page numbers if you can find the census to read.
AN obit would tell parents and we would Know Which of these names to look
up! LOTS OF THEM.

I went and looked up 1870 census information yesterday. Cornelius
Sellers, above, is listed in Philadelphia as married to Catherine F.
Sellers, so I think we've found our man. The census said they were
in January 1870. It also said Cornelius J. was born in Pennsylvania,
New Jersey, so there is the possibility that it's not the right person,
I think it's more likely that the person reporting in 1880, after Cornelius
J. would have died, was wrong.
We found my GGGGrandfather in PA 1850 census living in
Franklin P. Sellers (49), Printer/Publisher - Wife Rachel (39), Keeping
House - Son Cornelius J. (5), Son Franklin (5), & Daugh. Sidney (11
GGGrandfather found in 1870 Phila
Cornelius J. Sellers (26), Printer - Wife Catherine F. (21) - no children
GGrandfather found in 1880 Phila census
Mother Catherine F. Sellers (Widowed) Son Cornelius Elmer (5) (Both living
with Catherine's Brother)
Catherine re-married in 1882 to Howard W. Moore and relocated to Lumberton,
I look forward to hearing from you.
