Many thanks for your incredible patience. This project took much,
much more
time than I had originally thought.
During the process, I discovered spelling errors during the original
scanning process. The errors I found have been duly noted with a
"Comment"
next to each one. I didn't find many...but I was hoping for none.
I also found a few errors in the original document. These range from
spelling to indexing errors. As an example of the latter, the index
might
point to a page in which the subject apparently does not exist.
Another
example would be a reference to only one page when, in fact, several
pages
contain the subject. These anomalies are "Comment"ed as well.
The file has a Bookmark for each separate section as outlined in
the
original Table of Contents. Additionally, it has Thumbnails and
Comments.
But what took the most time was the "linking" I did for each name
in the
Index.
Each linked name appears in the color blue for proper names and green
for
place names. When the user "clicks" on the colored reference, the
text jumps
to the next instance that name appears following the current paragraph.
I
cannot begin to count the number of links...I am weary of links!!!
:)
As with any document, please understand that due diligence was taken,
BUT
errors may still exist. Even James I Marlowe was surprised to have
a missing
page! His document stands as the best research I've seen on the
Sellers
(Cellers, Cellars, Sellars, etc.) to date, and I'm sure will remain
so for
quite some time.
I hope this small effort at making this important document a searchable
electronic file is helpful to many. Any and all comments regarding
additional errors or how to improve this file is welcome. Again,
many thanks
for your help and your patience.
Respectfully,
Joe Sellers, II

Marie,
Adobe Acrobat will not save in any other format other than it's native
.pdf
format and save the links. :( Wish it could. So, the only way
you'll be
able to use the links is to view the file with Adobe Acrobat Reader
(which
is free and can be obtained at their website) or with the full version
program of Adobe Acrobat.
As for the html file, I went back and shortened the distance between
the
title and name to reduce the separation. The file is attached and renamed
with a "2" to James I MarloweHTML2.htm to avoid confusion.
Also attached as a file is James I Marlowe.rtf. It's Word's rich text
format
(therefore the "rtf"). I'm not exactly sure of the "look" you need
to the
website, but if you let me know, I'll gladly work on it.
Sincerely,
Joe Sellers, II

JOE, Thanks. Sorry, I'm so busy on other projects right now.
My son does computers (not htm) but, he is getting ready for school
classes
and working 12/14 hrs a day!
the html file would not keep/carry the links thro.
Maybe I didn't click on save links with document, someplace?
Did You?
the pdf and htm files look like this =
http://showcase.netins.net/web/sellers2/jamesimarlowe.htm
I'm sure the htm/html file is the Look we want - But, I haven't been
able to
edit it (shorten the space between the title and name, mainly and maybe
need
to
save in rtf is suppose to look better.?
Didn't try words - maybe I was in the Title area?
Maybe I 'm hurrying? and missing something?
ARE you familiar with what we need here?
IT may be I'm NOT saving correctly. WILL try work on some tonite.
I Know you have put SO much effort into this and I'm fiddling around
here -
But,
we will get it correct and pass/share it with our SELLERS.
ANY SUGGESTIONS appreciated.
IF you are NOT familiar with this, advise
and if I don't get this CORRECT = I'LL get some help.
THANKS -

Dear Marie,
I have the document in a HTML format. It is attached. Also, the errors
made
due to scanning have been eliminated, and the errors originally in
the
document have been restored. If I can help in any way, please let me
know.
Best regards,
Joe Sellers, II
