BINGO!!!
I just talked with Mr. James I. Marlowe!!! Couldn't thank him enough
for all
his work which, incidentally, still continues.
He checked his copy and didn't have page 66 either. He said it doesn't
appear to leave anything out, however, he's going to check his manuscript
and get back to me!
I'll keep you posted! Thanks a BUNCH!
Best regards,

Book
Title: Records pertaining to the Sellers family of Brunswick County,
N.C. /
compiled by James I. Marlowe
LC Control# 87104082
Description: 96 leaves : ill. ; 29 cm.
The Library of Congress staff is very polite and helpful. It took
approximately three weeks to get the manuscript, and the total cost
was
$74.00. That included a $12 lookup fee, $12 FedEx charge and $50 copying
cost (.50/sheet x 100 sheets).
By the way, I confirmed with Mr. Marlowe that the second map was indeed
11x17 inches. His son traced a 1/250,000 USGS map.

Just an update. I spoke to Mrs. Marlowe yesterday, and she confirmed
that
page 66 did not exist. Putting together a 100 page document using a
typewriter is quite a task, and by the time page 66 rolled around,
I guess
he must have been tired!
I've been in the process of trying to make the document user friendly
by
linking the names in the index to their places in the text. I've discovered
that there are sometimes more places in the text for a given name than
indicated in the index. Never-the-less, I want the text to remain completely
unchanged.
This has become much more of a task than at first I thought. With over
150
references average per page of index (7), it could take a little while.
I
promise to make it a priority.
Best regards,

A name, age, place chart =
is all we need.
You have probably sent, but, I want to make Sure we have you Linked
to these Counties/States.
