We know by Eleanor's obituary in Peoria, date May 21, 1887, that
only three son's were listed as living, Asa, David and (if this Thomas J.
Sellers in Mo. pans out, the 1880 and 1900, Mo. census) then the third son
living was Thomas J. If this is my George Sellers, then we know that he
died before 1887. I also have written down Oak Hill Cemetery, so maybe this is
applying to Illinois.

Marie, I just noticed that the son of  David's listed as Gustin was a
misspell it should had been Justin who also went by the name Jessie, as you will see by the 1880 Peoria, Census his age listed as 08.

Date Friday Aug, 3, 2001. = Harold Swartzbaugh.  Canton Illinois.
Harold D. Swartzbaugh, 90 of Pittsfield, formerly of Canton, died Wednesday,
Aug. 1, 2001, at Liberty Village in Pittsfield. Born DEC, 26, 1910 in
McDonough County to Jess L. and Frances Dyer Swartzbaugh. He married
Elizabeth Sellers on July 5, 1935, in Carthage (Hancock County. ) She
survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Roger (Joan) Baughman of
Pittsfiels; two grandchildren, Mrs. Michael (Lori) Clarkson of Quincy Mo. and
Jeff Baughman of Jacksonville. Harold Swartzbaugh taught school in Canton in
1933 and became principal in 1934, a position he held for 24 years. He then
became Superintendent of Canton Schools in 1957, retiring in 1971. (
Pittsfield ILL. is about 30 miles east of Hannibal, MO.)
