1870 U.S. Federal Census Sparland, Sparland Twp., Marshall Co., IL - 29 Jun 1870 - (P.13 of 15) P.O. Sparland: 105-106: SOLLARS, Ignatius, 43, M.W. Laborer, $300, $100, OH (b. 1827) (ck Wash Co., OH)
SOLLARS,
Stacie A. 48, F.W. Keeping house, OH (b. 1822)
CLARK, Chauncey, 9, M.W. IL (b, 1861) ck 1920 Census Los Angeles, Los Angeles Twp., Los Angeles Co., CA - Wilshire Blvd., per Robert
NOTE: Census index has her incorrectly as "Marie A." NOTE: In the 1850 Census, Ignatius Sollars age 25, b. OH and Stacey Ann Sollars, age 30, b. OH, are found in the home of James Sollars 54, widower, and father of Ignatius Sollars. I had assumed that Stacey was an elder sister of Ignatius, and such may perhaps be the case, with her having married a Clark, had son Chauncey and divorced him taking back her maiden name, and went to live with her brother Ignatius... or it may be that Ignatius and Stacie A. are and were husband and wife even back in 1850, and that Chauncey Clark was an orphan boy they took in since they never had children of their own. The 1850 & 1870 Census ever showed relationship to head of family in a household. ------------------------------------------------
