Now looking for Christopher and Polly Kennedy Ten Eyck.
Don't have date of birth for him but Polly died 1826,Christopher
1850.
Wondering if Christopher were related to Christoppel b.
1775 Schodak Landing NY. Only other Kennedy on our site=
Angeline died 1851 Saratoga,NY,wife of Abram T.E. b.1822
but died 1892 NJ. Christopher was born in Albany Co.NY.
So too, was Polly. He was a farmer.
Christopher and Polly had four children. G.K. we think was Giles
Kennedy T.E.; Ellen married Justus Morris and moved to IN.;
Thomas a resident of Rensselaer Co.NY. Don't know who the
4th child was.
In 1846,Giles purchased 200acres in IA. 1847 he returned home
to NY to wed Christina M. Bink. Her parents were Philip and Mary
Harrington
Bink. Chequest Township was where they settled. 1849 he went to
St.Louis,
carpenter and joiner, for a year. His wife died 1854.
1856 Van Buren Co.IA,he wed Rosannah Elizabeth
Sellers, a native of Indiana, and a daughter of
Benjamin Sellers.
By 1890, three of their children had died. Oliver E.
married Mary Vincent, daughter of S.E.Vincent. Part of the town
of Lebanon
was built upon a part of his farm.

In researching my Ten Eyck maiden name, I find Vincent used as middle
name for three gentlemen. Where did that middle name come from for Richard
Vincent Ten Eyck, b.06 Nov 1839? Who were his parents? Was his mother a
Vincent?
Richard and Emily Amelia Smith had a son named Frank Vincent Ten Eyck
b.04 Jul 1879 in Brooklyn. He and Emily E. Davies had a son named Richard
Vincent Ten Eyck b.28 Dec 1902.
A William Henry Ten Eyck and Catherine Garvey had a daughter named
Elsie Ten Eyck, probably 1890s who married a Vincent. Who was he, where
did he come from, what became of the couple? Possible location Nebraska.
Christopher Ten Eyck was father of G.K.Ten Eyck who lived in Van Buren
Co.IA. His first wife was Christina M.Bink who died in 1854. In 1856 he
married his second wife, Rosannah Elizabeth Sellers, a native of Indiana,
and a daughter of Benjamin Sellers. Out of four children, only one survived
who was Oliver E. Ten Eyck. He married Mary Vincent, daughter of S.E. Vincent.
Who was S.E. Vincent? What was his wife's name? What became of that couple--children?
