I have about 25 pages of info on (Nancy) Ann Peoples Sellers when I have
my genealogy program print a "book".  I've put only Ann and her husband
and children below.  I am willing to make gedcoms for anyone who is
interested, but it would take a long time and many emails to go back and
forth to post all the info I have.  So, if anyone would like further
information I'd be happy to create a gedcom file for you and email it.
Just let me know.
I have more information on the MINTZ line of Ann's
husband.   I don't know anything about the Peoples/Peeples line or why
that surname is a part of Ann's name, but if any one else knows I'd sure
like to hear about it.  I hope this doesn't come through too confused.

Here's *some* of the info I have on (Nancy) Ann Peoples Sellers and her
children:
FIRST GENERATION

1.  (Nancy) Ann People(s) SELLERS1,2 was born on 22 Mar 1782 in
Brunswick Co., NC.3,2  She died on 18
Mar 1863 in Brunswick Co., NC.2  She was buried in Mintz Cemetery,
Brunswick Co., NC.  The IGI had her in the system twice.  Once born in
1782 and once born in 1772.  The 1772 entry has Nancy Ann Peoples
SELLERS and the other entry has Nancy Ann SELLERS.  I wonder if her
mother's maiden name was PEOPLES??  Or could it have been misread and it
was Penelope (a name that appears earlier in her family) ??

According to Jim Ruark (jimruark@mail2.wilmington.net), there were 3
Elisha SELLERS and one had a daughter Ann, but no Nancy Ann.  Jim says
there was some question as to whether her given name was Ann or Anna
Peoples.

Alma S. Sanders states that Elisha was married 3 times and it is unknown
to her which is the mother of Nancy
Ann.

Dorothy Stanaland has her name as Mary Peoples Sellers.  Jacob Bateman
has her name as Jane Peoples
Sellers.  Not sure what her name really is!

She was married to Henery MINTZ (son of Wilhelm Otto "William"
MENTZ-ARENS  and Lucretia EDWARDS) on 22 Nov 1797 in Brunswick Co., NC.
Henery MINTZ2,4 was born on 9 Apr 1774 in Cumberland, Johnston Co., NC.
He was born on 9 Apr 1774 in Cumberland Co., NC.2  Alma believes he was

CLEARED.  He was buried in Mintz Cemetery, Brunswick Co., NC.  He was

And if they show source of proof - many errors I have found

NO Idea Where they got NANCY/MARY SELLERS - don't they list source of
proof?
I don't see her as Henry Mints wife in 1801 connected to ELISHA SELLERS
1740/1801!

We don't have land of Mintz/Mints posted, so don't know much on them - I do
have Brunswick
Co, NC deeds on film, but, didn't extract the other names - didn't know
them then!

PEOPLES/PEEBLES - would be connection before 1788 - OR whenever ANN PEEPLES

Thanks for sharing, marie, iowa

I haven't seen anything posted from Betty on the MINTZ's she has, but
thought I'd missed it.  I have some MINTZ information as well -
intermarrying with SELLERS, HEWETTS, etc.  I am interested in pursuing
this info and sharing mine if anyone would like.  I figure if I haven't
missed seeing it, I'm sure Betty is probably just as busy as the rest of
us!  That time of year...
