Arthur H. Davis . It's all about the Sellers/ Wickershams from Phila. It
takes you back to 1100a.d. Lots of research Here... Its great .Let me know

MY Aunt who is 90 years told me about my family. She said in our
family we are related to Taylor's, Reynold's ,Seller's , Gray's
,Wickersham's
, Lippen's Rapp's. She does not remember details. That is all the
information, just sur names. I will give you as much information as I have
found on my own. My name is Elsye Hall Viola B 4/25/39 My mother is Helen
Lippen Hall B.6/17/1918 Her parents are Charles Hall B4/13/1883 D 4/3/1968
and Anna Matilda Rapp.B 12/8/1890 D3/20/1969 Staying on my grandfather's
side
of the family. Charles Jeremiah Hall Parents are Charles Edward Hall no
birth/death dates and Marion Lippen. B1863 D2/7/1926 Marion Lippen Parents
are Charles Henry Lippen B1836 D3/28/1907 and Sarah Gray B1936 D12/8/1904.
Sarah gray parents are Henry Gray B1810 D11/22/1883 and Jane Wickersham
B1815
D12/8/1904. Jane Wickersham's parents are Seller's and I Don't have the
first names for the Seller's or birthdates. That is what I am after. Most
of
my findings are from census and a crypt in Westminster cemetery Phila. I do
have a book called The Dakota Branch Of The Seller's Family Tree. When I
connect to that It will Take me back to 1132a.d. And I know I will connect
because all the facts are right. All I need are names and dates to fill in.
My family are from Phila. Hope this helps. Keep in touch!!!!

Their daughter is my great/great grandmom. She married Charles Henry Lippen
Born 1836 Died March28 1907. What else do you have on this family

YOU'LL see their Washington SELLERS doesn't quite connect to the
Washington SELLERS born ca 1830 PA on the 1870 and 1880 PHIL CO, PA census.
Don't believe I have found on 1850/1860 census, have you?

There is the possibility if Sarah was a SELLERS first and married a
Wickersham, the kids could be living with them and kids SURNAME picked as theirs? (this
does happen often)
WE may Not connect to GRAYS till Henry Gray?

PLEASE search and study and Advise.
I Know, it would be nice to have the 1860 CENSUS on these families, but, no
One has sent?

MANY of these families were QUAKERS - ONLY thing I saw was a THOMAS
WICKERSHAM and SARAH JOHNSON in DE and don't know if same in Phil Co,Pa.

THE WAMPOLE/SELLERS history probably relates here, But, doesn't go back far
enough! You'd think if someone Saved the Old history, we'd be able to get
this info to fit! IT WILL, Takes more Sharing of info.

I am almost sure I have 1850/60 Pa census. Let me check??? Some of the
information you have sent sounds very promising. The Taylor are also
ancestors of mine. This is what my 90 year old aunt told me. I have not
found the connection yet.

CAN we get this census reading with his neighbors? I believe he has an initial J. in his name on another census and that may be why we haven't found him in 1860 and 1850.

DO you KNOW who the GRAY family is = small chart of Father = names, ages, places

ARE you Related to S.W.P SELLERS from Chester Co, Pa that went to SD?

SELLERS married into several WICKERSHAM in 1770's to 1800's in PA
Don't know if we have each marriage.
We have several mentioned on wills on Phil and Chester Co, Pa pages

WE must follow these families thru and See if their kids married again into these familes and get our ages down to where we could connect to ages of YOUR WICKERSHAMS.
AND the ones on the 1850 census!

DON'T have = MISSING a generation here = SOMEONE has to collect these families.
THERE probably are more wills after 1820 (all we have posted) AND they may connect the other SELLERS/WICKERSHAM family.
NO ONE has sent and WE HAVEN'T ordered. SO we don't have!

I will send you what I have need a little time to get it together. Yes these
people are my ancesters. Henry and Jane Gray are my 5greats back Their
daughter Sarah married Charles Lippen.4greatback Their daughter Marion.
Married Charles Hall 3greats back. there son also Charles is my grand dad.
Jane Grays maiden name was Wickersham. But I know nothing that far back. If
you have anything PLEASE let me know. Still looking as to where the Sellers
comes in. I know they do???? Could the Washington Sellers be a connection.
Some of the first names are the same. Marion/Marion.
