My name is Don Sellers and I have recently started a search for my
family
roots. I currently have about 85% of the information back
to my great
great grandfather Littleton Sellers born in the early 1800"s and
married to
Nancy Proctor. I believe that they were married in lower Alabama
or North
Flordia (Holmes or Washington
counties). I am attempting to piece the rest
of it together.
If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
I will gladly furnish all of my information that I have.
Thanks Don

Marie,
The John Sellers/Sarah Ann Kelly above are my g-grandparents. Marriage
has
been proven. My problem lies in the fact that I cannot identify
who John's
parents
were. I have gone through almost every available (to me) census
in and
around Decatur County, Ga. To date I have
not been able to look at a 1880 or 1890
census to see where John and Sarah went to immediately after marriage.
Nor,
have I had access to a 1860, 1870 census to tie John in with his
siblings or
parents.
If anyone has those census' and could look up to see if a connection
could
be made I would appreciate it. Supposedly John was born 1850 in
Baker
County,
Ga., however; I cannot find any proof of this.
Please delete my former submission of entire family tree. Request
is made
since there are numerous errors and living family members have complained
that
personal data is publically available.
Thanks,
Don
Thanks,
Don

Thank You-Thank You-Thank You,
Don
I know it's been awhile since I last contacted you but, I haven't been very productive in my research.
Recently I received papers that show I have a cross over in my Sellers line and I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction.
I am looking for information on HENRY L. SELLERS and SUSANNAH (HETTY) BRYANT. One of thier daughters Amanda Jane Sellers married Sampson Carter. It is my understanding that Henry and Sussannah came from North Carolina, (Do you have any idea where?) They had 6 children as shown below:
Tucanius
Henry
Roberet Melvin
DeWitt Clinton
Sussannah
Amanda Jane
This is probably not the order of birth. Amanda met and married Sampson sometime prior to 1860 in Georgia. Prior to 1850 Henry L. Sellers moved his family to Washington County, Florida. There are numerous documents verifying that they were in Washington County.
The cross over comes when a son of Sampson and Amanda Jane Carter marries Delilah Sellers my great aunt. As far as I know at this point Henry L. Sellers and my great aunt are not related. (Note: This Carter family also moved to Washington County, Florida around the same time the Sellers family did.)
Any suggestions/ comments would be appreciated. Hopefully I have made it a shade clearer that pure mud and you can make heads or tails out of it. I know I have seen the name Hetty/Hettie and Henry Sellers linked somewhere, just can't recall where.
I appreciate any time that you may give to this and I thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Donald L. Sellers
I believe we see them in 1850 JACKSON CO, FL

What I am looking for is a list of children for this marriage. In particular anything from 1850 to 1870. I have positively identified my great great grandmother on the 1870 Census for Thomas County, Georgia. However, there is no husband shown, only the children. I have the information from that point to present and am attempting to find my Nancy's husband. Is it feasible that Nancy Boaz and my Nancy are one and the same? My Nancy was born in N.C. the same as Nancy Boazman.
Also, if anyone is researching HENRY L. (S.) SELLERS I have information on his marriage and where he migrated to.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
I will share my research.
Resarching: SELLERS, SHORES, KELLY, PREVATTE, HAWTHORNE, CARTER.

I DON'T believe the connection in MARLOWE'S book is complete/correct
on the JOHN SELLERS/NANCY BOAZMAN.
Wrong Age on JOHN SELLERS, son of Mathew?
AND we NEED to Work on it more and connect/Prove More Kids.
HE has given us many deeds/records to help us trace/follow these families.
Use Them.
PERHAPS his page on the JOHN F. SELLERS could help?
DON'T know if we checked out the other BOAZMAN/SELLERS marriage and
where they went?
NEED.
JOHN SELLERS bond was signed by John SELLARS and Mathew SELLARS and
dated
Feb 23-1815 to marry Nancy Boazman
SELLERS, Matthew B255 BOAZMAN,
Mary
20/10/1811
MATHEW SELLERS bond was signed by Mathew SELLERS and Nathan GAUSE and
dated Oct 20,(twentyish) 1811 to marry Mary Boasman
SELLERS, Asbery H300 HEWETT,
Sarah Rebecca 02/01/1843
WE don't show a bondsman here? who?
BUT, the connection of ASBURY SELLERS and the JOHN F. SELLERS in 1850
JACKSON
CO, FL looks good to Brunswick Co, NC in
1830.
http://showcase.netins.net/web/sellerfamily/fljack.htm
WHERE are we in 1840?
When/Where did JOHN F. SELLERS marry ELEANOR?
ANSWERS to any of these questions will help.
PLEASE send REPLIES thro SELLERS group on ANY connections, esp BOAZMANS.
