I have a John Charles B Beavers born abt 1840 SC(is what he says on AL 1860
census) married to Mahala Sellers whose parents are Hilliard George Sellers
and Rachel Mary Snider . Hilliard & Rachel both born in SC in late 1700's,
moved to AL by 1830. Am told Sniders & Sellers migrated together along with
Land and other families. Does anyone have any info relating to Beaver by any
spelling possibly intermingling or having dealings with Sellers in SC before
1830?

A son of Hilliard George Sellers who resided in North Port, Tuscaloosa ct Al
from abt 1830 to 1870's was also named Ackillis. Hilliard was born in SC
abt 1797. Married to Rachel Mary Snyder abt 1823 SC. I'm told by other
researchers  that the Sellers, Land, and Snyder families arrived in Tusc.
abt the same time possibly traveling together in a wagon train. They ran low
or out of supplies and elected to stay here. Others in the group decided to
travel on west and wound up in TX and states in between. My notes from these
other researchers indicate the Sellers were from Lexington ct SC.

That they were of Scots decent, originially fromArray/ Bute Island.
Hilliard's children were William, Julie Ann, Isaiah, Lucinda, George
Alexander, Mary F,Mahala(my line), A)Killis. Two more children were listed
on later census. Do not know for sure if these are children or
grandchildren: Lethis,Marella.
I have more on the spouses, dates, etc if you'd like.
There is also a Gurley Sellers fro NC in Tuscaloosa & Jefferson cts AL.
Don't know what or if there is a relationship between Gurley & Hilliard.

SO , HOW can we FIND them or others find THEM.
