I have a John Charles B Beavers born abt 1840 SC(is what he says on AL 1860
census) married to Mahala Sellers whose parents are Hilliard George Sellers
and Rachel Mary Snider . Hilliard & Rachel both born in SC in late 1700's,
moved to AL by 1830. Am told Sniders & Sellers migrated together along with
Land and other families. Does anyone have any info relating to Beaver by any
spelling possibly intermingling or having dealings with Sellers in SC before
1830?

DONNA, thanks.
We have a link for our SELLERS on the Tuscaloosa Co., Al. page to Orangeburgh
Co, SC, with no source shown.
We would appreciate a small chart on John BEAVERS and MAHALA SELLERS children
and Where they went.

A son of Hilliard George Sellers who resided in North Port, Tuscaloosa ct Al
from abt 1830 to 1870's was also named Ackillis. Hilliard was born in SC
abt 1797. Married to Rachel Mary Snyder abt 1823 SC. I'm told by other
researchers  that the Sellers, Land, and Snyder families arrived in Tusc.
abt the same time possibly traveling together in a wagon train. They ran low
or out of supplies and elected to stay here. Others in the group decided to
travel on west and wound up in TX and states in between. My notes from these
other researchers indicate the Sellers were from Lexington ct SC.

That they were of Scots decent, originially fromArray/ Bute Island.
Hilliard's children were William, Julie Ann, Isaiah, Lucinda, George
Alexander, Mary F,Mahala(my line), A)Killis. Two more children were listed
on later census. Do not know for sure if these are children or
grandchildren: Lethis,Marella.
I have more on the spouses, dates, etc if you'd like.
There is also a Gurley Sellers fro NC in Tuscaloosa & Jefferson cts AL.
Don't know what or if there is a relationship between Gurley & Hilliard.

DONNA,
THANK YOU for sharing.

Haven't heard back from SHARON  yet. BUT, believe they could be in JEFFERSON CO, AL=

1900 JEFF CO, AL
WM SELLERS 47 AL (ca1853)
NANCY J. 27 AL
KILL? 17M MS
MARY 8 AL
HOSIER 6F AL

AND to HARRISON CO, TX
AND I didn't go back further = But, I'm sure he is on the census. Famous Last Words.

NOW, will add your new info and we sure need SC info on several counties.

YES, some  say LEXINGTON,
BUT, NO ONE has sent any PROOF or DOCUMENTS from this county!
SO , HOW can we FIND them or others find THEM.
MAYBE, land it was made from?
OR laid next to?
IF SO,  they should SHARE exact info and explain. (kinda sorry for the lingo)

BARNWELL CO, SC =
http://showcase.netins.net/web/sellerfamily/scbarn.htm
(made or lays next to Orangeburg and Lexington)

may have a connection to the ESTER SELLERS in JEFF CO, AL?
ABEL SELLERS (war of 1812) wife was Ester Wall?) (from SC)
AND i believe another SC county has info shared. Probably linked .

THE SCOT immigration was in ?? = LATER than MANY  of our SELLERS here in NC/SC.

OUR earliest SC birth =?

BUT, we do NOT have a CHART or SHIP list on the SC? Immigrants
OR maybe an Earlier Date? That we/I do not have?

OUR SC info is in NEED of HELP.
THANKS for understanding ALL of this. IT kinda covers several issues/families.

IF you want to SEND where your child went to, It may help link other counties/families?
