know till next census).
on the 1880 PA Soundex for SELLERS/SALLERS/SOLLERS = NO ALFRED

As far as I know Alfred grew up in Upper Darby.
Alfred, wife Mary, daughter
Virginia, and Virginia's second husband Oliver B Phillips are buried
together in Fernwood Cemetery Landsdowne.
I think Frederick may have been from Sellersville. My mother remembers
someone coming to her wedding from Sellersville she thinks it was
Albert
Sellers (she still has the silver teapot he gave her as a gift.)
This is pretty much the extent of what I know about my Sellers line.
Any
info would be appriciated!

Hi,
I almost deleted this without checking data. I went to your web
page and
noted a Howard Sellers,,,and a William Sellers, and
that Alfred was born in Bucks Cnty.. My GGG grandfather P Henry
was born
there,,son of Leonard dying in 1805. P Henry moved
to Franklin before 1800 and his son Leonard moved to Lima OH by
1837. A few
generations later I arrived ,,,1936.
Are we related ?

Roger in Las Cruces, NM

Try www.interment.net/ . They have lists of National
Cemeteries. I found a
person for whom I was searching at the Leavenworth National
Cemetery in their list for that cemetery.

WHEN you find out his age , and WHERE born you should
be able to find him on a census =
he wasn't on 1850 Upper Darby, Delaware Co, PA?
BUT, his parents may have moved from UPPER DARBY, DELAWARE CO, PA to
WHERE?
WHERE he married?
WHERE his kids born?
OTHERS can NOT find HIM or Child you connect to,
UNLESS you SHOW where in 1850 or 1860 , etc
OR ABOVE INFO
THANKS for sharing ,

FREDERICK never remarried?
I have a couple of relation that married a few years and also
one who married a few months before he died!
That collected CW pension -
DID we check the 1890 census for CW members?
WERE all these regiments? from PHIL CO or COUNTY he enlisted?
I WOULD order BOTH CW records to check for relation, etc.
THANKS for sharing. marie, iowa

Well, it seems that the Frederick Sellers in phila, National Cemetery canDOLLY, just a thought.
not be mine, he died in 1862, And my Frederick had a son in 1865:) now my
only hope (as far as CW records go) is that Frederick A Sellers is mine and
his birthrate is a typo (possible). Well I'm going to send for his pension
records and see.....

Howard's
SELLERS--Suddenly, on Dec 13 1960, Howard B., husband of Martha
G. Sellers
of 651-B Drexel Ave., Drexel Hill. Relatives, friends past commandery
U.S.
Coast guard Auxiliary, Flotilla #42 are invited to the service Saturday,
2:30 P.M. at Spencer T Videon & Son Funeral home, Garrett Rd
at Shadeland
Ave., Drexel Hill, Int. Mt. Moriah Cem. Friends may call Friday
7 to 9 P.M.
I have no idea where La Mott is but I figure it's close to Philly
as Mt
Moriah is in West Philly...I am going there tomorrow, but I don't
expect
much help as they never have been before, causing me to found the
Friends of
Mount Moriah (but that is another story all together).
HOWARD is the son of ALFRED & MARY ROSS SELLERS and the Grand
son of
FREDERICK. HOWARD's granddaughter Leigh Ann Roach I believe is on
this list.
HOWARD's sister VIRGINIA (Maas) PHILLIPS was my great grandmother.
VIRGINIA,
her fist husband RALSTON MAAS, and second husband OLIVER B PHILLIPS,
as well
as ALFRED & MARY are all buried in Fernwood cemetery in Upper
Darby Pa.
I might mention, while there is as of yet no connection...Upper
Darby was
founded by Samuel Sellers in the 1600's (I have a copy of the history
from
the Sellers Library in Upper Darby, Thanks Liegh).
