Hi Marie, 
My Isahm never made it to MS.. I've tracked him on the census as living in 
North Carolina till his death
in 1849.  In 1850 Susannah moved to MS with her sons. I still haven't found
any records listing him in
NC cemeteries either.  I've seen a will of his wife's father.  My Isham
married Susannah Frances
Collins of South Carolina.  In Susannah's father's will he list his daughter
Susannah as married to a
Isham Melton of North Carolina.  Their first born son was named Isham. 
But as of yet I can't find any
documents stating who my Isham's father was.  Because I saw the information
on Robert b. 1700
having a son name Isham I've tried to connect them.  I'm still searching.
