Subject:  sellers/whitlock

My granddad was born in Cedar County 1875. John Wick Sellers/Sellars. My
Dad was also born there 1914 in Humansville. The family subsequently moved
to Oklahoma in the 1920s. My grandmother was Josephine Bell Whitlock born
1889 in Cedar and I have zero information on her family. Any help would
be VERY much appreciated! Please contact me if you can shed any light on
these people. Thanks

I checked out your page and your information coincides with mine.  Yippee..
John Wick Sellers dad was William Newton born 5 Jan 1844, married 8 Jan
1863
in lynn, Cedar County, Mo.; his father was Jordan Basil m Eliza Curtis 28
Jun 1890 in Cannon County, Tennessee.  My Dad's family went to Nowata
County, Oklahoma. Town of Delaware.  His siblings are as follows:
Opal Jewell, deceased
Carl Raymond, living ( this is my Dad)
Hubert Eugene, unknown
Bertha, living
Wilba, living (I think)
Newton, unknown
Idabell, living
Marion, unknown

I have some information back to Germany in the early 1600s which I have not
proven to my satisfaction, but would be glad to share if you would like.
