Don't know if this will help but Chester Twp of Wells Co IN is not a
big place:

Two titles on family history in the Wells Co Public Library
<http://www.wellscolibrary.org/> include the Emory Sellers family
which was in or near Chester Twp.  Not sure where the family lived
before IN.

Since I have found no relation to my Sellers family which lived in the
next two townships, I don't have dates for that family at hand but I
believe they go back to mid to late 1800s in Chester Twp.

Folk by the name of Hunnicutt still live on the Liberty-Chester Twp
border.  Someone on the INWELLS-L list at Rootsweb may also have some
information.

I realize Sellers no longer was the surname you were looking for by
the time of your Wells Co IN connection ... but for what it's worth,
here are the two titles (both for in-library use only):
