My mom has Ephraim Robbins and Sarah Sellers listed in her bible as her
great
grandparents but no dates on them. Their son Luther Robbins died
(unnatural
causes) in the very late 1920's or early 1930's when my grandmother Anna
Belle Robbins was only 3. No birth dates or definite death dates.
 Luther Robbins owned some tug and dredge boats (looking into that) and
they
lived in Louisiana (New Orleans in the end).

BONNIE - Thanks, maybe contact the Orleans Parish for a death certificate
or the
library for copy of obit. They may even have one on his parents. Then we
would

 Ephraim Robbins & Sarah Sellers lived in Louisiana. I don't know if they
were born here or who their parents were, that's what I'm trying to find
out.
They had Luther Robbins who married Bernadette de St Germain and they too
lived in Louisiana. I have been able to trace back Bernadette's family but
not Luther's. Luther was my mom's grandfather but he died before she was
born. I don't have dates on them either except that Luther died in the
very
late 1920's to early 1930's when my grandmother was about 3yrs old.

Hi everyone,
 I finally found my Ephriam Sellers (not the Ephraim or Ephrim I thought)
and
wife Sarah Sellers. It was there burial site in Jackson Parish, Louisiana.
I
live right outside of New Orleans and hopefully can drive up there.
 I couldn't find any other info in Jackson but found out that the
courthouse
burned in 1860, I think, so now I still can't find their parents!! I was
able
to get their birth and death dates (middle names too) but that's it.
 Ephriam R. Robbins b 1843 d 1918 and wife Sarah E. Sellers b 1846 d 1933.
So
if anyone get's a bell ringing in their head let me know (smile).

FEDERAL CENSUS should be available - even if County Court House burnt?

WHERE were their kids born? esp first child?=
my records are mostly on SELLERS
So, After married You Need exact county/town/state to Search or go thro a
lot of
records. for ROBBINS
ONE child's info may do -
WE have ROBBINS connected to SELLERS in 1780's? in NC, so some members,
may have
the ROBBIN history, IF you Find Out=

Hi group,
 I had an e-mail from someone in vicksburg asking about my Sarah Sellers.
Everytime I tried sending my letter it came back. I have no other info on
Sarah Sellers except that she was b. 1846 d. 1933 in Louisiana and was
buried
in Jackson Co. with her husband Ephriam Robbins. They had a son in
Louisiana
named Luther Robbins m. to my great grandmother Bernadette de St.
Germain. I
don't know if Sarah was born in La., who her parents or siblings were,
who
her other children were besides Luther. Everyone keeps asking me for this
other info. but that's why I'm here (smile), to try and find that other
information.

NOTHING is too small -
SOME info we CanNOT buy, even if we wanted.
There are Many free lookups today -
You can send in a Query to that county page on GenWeb=
Do a Search for US GEN WEB - if you have problems advise and I'll send
url.
You can write that county Genealogy Society and they usually give some
free
advise/info- Some do have e-mail addresses to write.
The Funeral Directory sent to us = Very Good - Advise Results as you find
them.

The Robbins, nephew to our SELLERS is a very good lead and I'm hoping
someone
will recognize this SELLERS and have info on his Family. I didn't see a
ROBBINS/SELLERS marriage, But, he did have a Sister SARAH born 1846?
(memory) and
If she Married a ROBBINS, It would be His Nephew!

BONNIE - This Info We Need or we won't know if we have the correct SARAH
SELLERS
- Obtain an obit or death certificate - may tell parents, place of birth
and do
the Same on LUTHER. Court House in LA or their Genealogy society or
Library will
tell you where/how, etc. They may have a query page on line - Use it!

Elizabeth Sellers (1846-1847) Alabama, her parents: Luther Sellers (b c.
1814
NC) & Margaret ? (b c. 1824 SC).
