Thank you for the help. I'm just getting started and I'm going off info my
sister got from my Grandmother. I started looking at info on the Alabama
web
site but they only have the 1850 census. Where do I obtain copies of other
years?

My Grandmother is Bessie Lee Sellers who was born in Ashford, Houston
County,
Alabama on 1/28/1903.( Houston County was made up from parts of Henry, Dale
and Geneva Counties in 1903). Her parents were Cora Harper and Carlton E.
Sellers both from Ashford. Her grandparents were Norman L Sellers and Sarah
F. Faircloth (or Farecloth ). Alex Harper and Melissa Whitaker (spelling?)
were her grandparents on her mother's side.

I may have some of the information sideways or incorrect spelling - more so
due to my sister's sense of detail rather than my grandmother's memory. I
haven't yet begun to collect actual documents.

Are you interested in Sellers going forward from Norman? I could try to get
information his children and grandchildren.
