     Hi Marie,
You startled me, my Grandmother's name was Marie Sellers.

Yes, noted that a Michael Sellers was in Spartanburg Co, SC, in 1840 and my
notes show that he is listed in Spart Co in the 1830 census.  Disappears and
then a Michael Sellers shows up in Union Co, SC in 1850 census.

Charles Hester of Spartanburg Dist, farmer...to my wife Martha Hester, tract
of 150 acres adj MICHAEL SELLERS, Cherokee Creek, choice of my horses, etc;
balance to be equally divided between my children Wm Hester, John Hester,
Abraham Hester, Jesse Hester, Sally Fondren, Lucy Arnold, Nancy Camp, Robert
Hester, Joseph Hester, Fanny Blanton; my grandson Simpson Hester and my
stepson Thomas Logan executors.  Proven 15 Apr, 1835.  (Rev War pension
application (R4930) filed Feb, 1833 in Spartanburg Co, SC gives Charles
Hester's birth as Aug 16, 1747 in Louisa Co, Va).

A Rebecca Sellers shows up in Union Co, SC, 1870 census - I'm sure that is
Henry Sellers wife.  Info on Rebecca shows born NC.
