When I first started to school I started at the old Gates School. It was
located on what is now the Bode Farm, owned or leased by a Sellers Family.

Do you have any idea where Your Martha Lewis was Born?
I have a martha lewis in my family. she was born 2 april, 1848 in Rapides
Parrish Louisiana. At this time that is all I have on her except who her
brothers and sisters were. Her father was Allen Lewis and Her mother was
Ellender Sellers, who was Allen Lewis's first wife. His 2nd wife was
Margaret Jane Elizabeth Nessmith b. Sept. 1, 1835.

Looking for Sarah (Sallie) Crosby Fortner, died late 1939 in Hope, AR.
Date unknown, Burial place unknown. Sallie was originally from Heber Springs.
She may have been using the lst name of SELLERS.
