I am trying to find the ancestors of my ggreat grandfather George W.
Sellers who was married to Mary Ellen Rummel. They lived in State Line, PA in
Franklin Co. He was a carpenter and they had at least 8 children.
One was my great grandfather Carl Harvey Sellers who married Mary Jane Myers.
My grandfather was Lester David Sellers and he was born in Welsh Run, PA in Franklin Co.

Ihave no date for Harry Rummel, he had two children that I have
found, William H. Rummmel, no dates and Mary E. Rummel, b.12/25/1853, MD.
Mary married George W. Sellers,b.10/15/1853, PA and died 4/17/1905,State
Line, PA. They were married in 1877, they had 9 children, 8 lived. They
were Harry A. Sellers,b.3/27/1874 and d.2/21/1922, Mollie E.,b.1878, George
William,b.12/10/1880 and d.12/2/1947,Carl Harvey,b.6/9/1883 and d.
7/12/1933, Alice L.,b.11/1885 and d.2/22/1904, Lillian May, b.11/1888 and
d.2/22/1905, Ray, b.8/1891, and Orpha b.7/1894. All were born in State
Line, Franklin Co. PA George owned a farm there and was a capenter and a

ANITA, Thank You. Yes, this is the info we need and it should help! But,
he is Not listed on our
1860 or 1880 soundex Franklin Co, Pa census. And Franklin Co, Pa is Not
on the 1870 cdrom.
We had a member working on this family that stated his last name was
spelled ZELLERS on his obit
and if so, He would Not show up on My soundex as it is only for SELLERS.

I will also send a copy of this thru the discussion group in case some
may have an 1860 Franklin Co,
Pa census and can give us a reading of the census. There was a HENRY
RUMMEL here in 1860 in
Antrim twn.

Anita: This is reply to you from Sellers site and Franklin Cnty PA query.
There are several George Sellers in my Tree, two of which were in Franklin
Cnty in the early 1800's. My direct line, my
GG Grandfather left Franklin in 1836-37 and move to Lima,Allen Cnty OH. He
died in 1860 there.
My data base includes a George W. Sellers but born in Ohio and married to a
Lowery.
The Franklin Cnty area still has quite a number of Sellers in phone books
but I have never delved into their backgrounds.

DO you have the 1860 or 70 FRANKLIN CO, PA census with extractions on Any
of these families? I believe that is what we need to find him on a census with
parents. AND Franklin Co,PA is Not on my CD, so we need someone with
original census copy.

Merry Christ mas...
Since I still work full time and have really had my hands full this
fall...I
haven't bought CD or collected raw data.
The Allen Cnty info I did forward was sent to my by a lady researching my
GG Grandmother, Elizabeth Wenger. She thought
Wenger experts had her married to wrong Leonard Sellers...and she was
correct. There is another Leonard showing in Franklin Cnty PA after...my
folks had left. Leonard's father ,Phillip Henry Sellers, was the link my
dad could never find.
Data there was provided to me by another lady trying to figure out where Leonard had
gone when he left Franklin...she has been studying
that country for many years....I know more about folks that have been dead
for many moons than I do about living cousins..
That is a shame but part of our "mobile life style".
